Easy 12 mile motor with a Cero Mackerel caught along the way! Isla San Marcos has approximately 600 residents that work in the gypsum mining industry located on the southern tip of the island. The afternoon was spent below as DreamCatcher was once again a watering station for the bees. We anchored upwind (away from the gypsum dust) in the northwestern anchorage and enjoyed a beautiful, starry night watching the last two episodes of Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries and eating rosemary popcorn on the bow.
