San Marcos to Santa Rosalia
05 September 2018
Our bee friends were back early today so we headed out for the ten mile motor (a tuna was snagged along the way) to Santa Rosalia – a quaint French built (with a Mexican touch) mining town with approximately 14k residents, no gringo or tourism influence. The Fonatur marina has 20 slips and is a five minute walk to downtown. Lots of restaurants, a Coffee Star coffee shop (yay!) and a big Ley grocery store nearby. We will spend one month here and head out again – parts unknown! We are finally mid-way up the Golfo!
