Santa Rosalia to San Francisquito

First leg of trip north to San Felipe – plan was to sail 34 miles to a possible anchorage but once we were four miles from it the winds became perfect to make the full 80 miles to San Francisquito, so off we went! Sailing a broad reach, with flat seas and a speed of 7-8 knots – woohoo! A late arrival of 11:00 pm into the large bay of San Francisquito – thankful! Spent a couple of days here with Marina (s/v Hobbit Feet) and Roxy and Carl (s/v Sky Pond) exploring, enjoying sun downers and dinner, AND the dog caught a small halibut while dinghy trolling – yay! We’ve been watching a new sermon series by Andy Stanley “Brand: New”. There is a new covenant, new command, new ethic and new movement. The Church is a body, not a kingdom.
