San Francisquito to Bahia de las Animas
04 June 2019
Bruce & Gina Senay & Gibson
We awoke to a foggy morning, leaving at 10:00 am with wind 8-12. Good sailing till the last five miles, so we fired up the engine and motored in. Bruce caught a 34” yellowtail on the way – the tastiest fish in the Golfo! As you can see from the photo, we befriended the local bee population with all the dew on the deck the following morning. Since bees love all boaters (we have fresh water) we have learned to coexist peacefully with them by placing a big bowl of water on the bow of the boat. They live on the bow – we live at the stern. They are very polite and do not bother us unless we step or sit on them. Some people have hummingbirds, we have bees.
