We’re back in our favorite port city!! Excited to see friends, explore restaurants, bike the malecon, attend Church and of course have coffee at Doce Cuarenta! Almost there!! Lovely four hour jib sail to Bahia Falso – our La Paz marina is just around the corner. Good Lord willing we’ll be in our slip tomorrow morning!

Anchors up at 7:00 am for a 6.5 hour motor sail to Caleta Partida. The Baja side of Mexico is just breathtaking!! And, we are only 21 miles from La Paz – yay!!!

Happy Thanksgiving again!! We have much to be thankful for! We celebrated the holiday with friends Brian and Sherie (s/v Epic) – Bruce made shepherds pie (with turkey), I made bread and cranberry salad and Sherie made deviled eggs and banana nut bread – blessed!

Early Thanksgiving blessings! We met the nicest family from Indiana (Paul, Linda, Andy, Katy and Jill) who had chartered a boat for the holiday. They invited us to share an early Thanksgiving dinner aboard their huge catamaran – too fun! We are all gathered in this anchorage to wait out another tropical depression – lots of rain but no problems. Bruce did some fishing in the anchorage – in 10 minutes he snagged four triggerfish!! Woohoo!

Good morning San Evaristo!! We started a new Andy Stanley sermon series “Aftermath”. When you lose your fear of death, all fear is gone. The disciples hope was not in the Scriptures, but what they had seen and heard. The reason for our faith in Jesus – and thus our hope – is the resurrrection.
Ephesians 5:15 Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise.

Jib sailed 33 miles with 3-7’ swells – a bit rolly but great fun!

35 mile trip with variable winds – gorgeous Baja!!

With Raymond well past us (a non-event, thank you Lord!) we made the short seven mile trip to Candeleros. Bruce landed a Cerro mackerel along the way – yay!!
