Pussy's Galore!

27 January 2012 | Telaga Harbour Marina Langkawi
Despite our positive experience on the hard, it's great to be back in the water! We're currently tied up in a front row berth at the lovely Telaga Harbour marina in Langkawi. The marina is flanked by high tropically wooded hills and surrounded by pretty buildings, one of which is the Customs house - a colonial yellow number with a clock tower that chimes hourly. Yesterday's adventures included shopping for liquid provisions and rescuing two kittens. The latter had been dumped near the marina and were near exhaustion. Some water and food brightened them up and one GT decided to take them aboard Dreamcatcher for the night to give them a little more TLC. We had a lovely time with them - they are real sweethearts, and of course the thought of keeping them crossed our minds.... but with Thai and Indian quarantine/customs ahead of us, it's a bad idea. So we've fed them up and will do our best to ensure someone knows where they are and to give them some food scraps.
