We've both always wanted to be in a warmer climate. The NorthEast winters are just wearing on us. I always feel like a nice hot sunny summer helps me to get through our long cold winters. The last few summers though have really been a disappointment. The last few summers we've not been able to use the pool in August! I remember a few years ago, we'd swim into September. I'm angry at my lack of summer. It's personal to me!

Last month we went on vacation to a beautiful body of water. We came home and bought a boat. So, it was an impetuous decision, one that has us currently broke BUT it's also one that is renewing our desire to be in a warmer climate.

We've been talking about buying a catamaran before we're too old to enjoy it but not really sure how to fund living on it. Charters.....the idea was borne last night over some pretty gross red wine. Now starts a whole new era for us of research and learning....about sailboats, charters, license and insurances.

This could be an interesting road that we've turned down and Lord wiling the end of it will warm blue waters and white sandy beaches.
