Long before we left home, we made reservations for the pig roast this weekend at Pierre's. We knew that it was a signature event and not to be missed!

After arrival, we trekked over to visit Bill Proctor, a local legend, and see his famous museum. We've all read the books Bill co-authored, Heart of the Raincoast and Full Moon Flood Tide. He signed the books for us while we were there. The photo above shows us with Bill.

When we arrived back from Bill's we were delighted to find that our friends Gary and Deva, on Sidetrack, had arrived and were rafted to Dreamtime. Gary and Deva were our cruising companions on our last major cruise, in 2003. It will be great having them with us again!

We had a major Prawn Feast last night at Laura Cove. Two sets of the pot produced over three dozen nice prawns which, combined with those we already had in the freezer, made for a "sumptuous repast!"
