WX: high o/c after a.m. fog patches, temp 70, wind W 5-15
Our first choice today was a little gunkhole known as "Bootleg Cove." When we first arrived in the Broughtons, it would have been a good choice. Now, at the height of High Season, going there was a waste of fuel. Of course someone else got there first and, though there might have been room for us, we would have felt like we were intruding. So we left those folks to enjoy their good fortune and went on to Waddington Bay.
We were amazed to find Waddington empty except for two boats that went in just ahead of us. The solitude didn't last long. Within twenty minutes of our arrival, there were six other boats there. The parade continued throughout the rest of the afternoon and by nightfall, there were fifteen boats anchored.

We enjoyed some of Gary's salmon for dinner, Charlie serving as chef for "Pecan Crunch Salmon." The fog came in and we wondered if we were going to have another IFR run in the morning. The fog never really amounted to much, however.
