The following link is well worth having a look at if you do any racing.

Even the experienced sailors amongst us were surprised at the interpretations of the rules, and found it a good learning tool.
It takes a bit of looking at, but if you have a go, watch the sequence first then go back to the beginning and step it forward bit by bit before you make your decision on the ruling.
I think you'll be surprised at just how few of the racing rules are actually used correctly at the club.
