Exploring a teeny bit of New York

This morning waited for Kurt and Leanne to come in from Cape May. 135 miles in 5 1/2 hours. Sometimes I do wish that I could go faster, but overall am content to plug along at my sedate speed of 8 mph.
We went downtown to Times Square again. Somewhat more busy than yesterday, probably a lot to do with memorial day coming up. Also is Navy week, so now there are thousands of sailors walking around town with their girlfriends or wives. Although the crowds are huge, there is no panic walking around, and everything is calm, albeit busy.
We had dinner at a Mexican restaurant, and as Kurt was tired from driving returned to boats at 11:00. Tomorrow is tourist day.
I had to include a picture of Statue of Liberty from the Staten Island Ferry. I know I got the year wrong. Fixed camera date this evening.
