One more day!

Extreme humity and stormy
As always, mother nature played some games today. We awoke to a hot, muggy morning, which is not a good omen around here. Got through the first lock at opening time of 10:00 and kept going through locks, when my weather radio started sounding a Squall warning. A front was developing necause of the high humidity, and lightning storms probable.
We made a couple of more locks and tied up for the high winds, which fortunately bypassed us by 5 miles. So tomorrow, we shall press on to Rideau Ferry Harbour, where the cruise started, and tie the ribbon 🎀 on the great loop.
Susan and Leanne loved the funky feeling and shops in this town. They even had a three story high Christmas store, and Susan swears that the owner is one of Santas elfs, 🎅.
While alongside a couple of charter boats called "Le Boat" pulled up. This company is from France and is the premier canal rental boat company in Europe. We met a French couple from Toulose, and invited them to dock-tails, Jean and Hugunot were retired and had rented from this company numerous times, and loved it. I may have to Charter one in Europe.
The photo is a creative store re-purposing grannies china and silver.
Forks and spoons turned into wind chimes, old teapots, birdhouses, and china cups glued onto wine glass stems for wine glasses.
