Quiet day cruising
01 September 2019 | Green Turtle Bay

After a leisurely get up, 2 cups of coffee, and reading the newspaper, we got underway. Quite a difference from our O dark 30 mornings!
Cruising down the Cumberland River was calm and quiet. We met a few barges and crossed with no problems. It was fun to finally have time to look around, and watch the Eagles fishing right in front of our boat.
We have anchored at Green Turtle Bay, and will be going in to the Marina tomorrow. Just BB Queuing a side of ribs for dinner. yum.
The picture today is of the dredges, constantly working to clear the silt, and keep channels navigable. Long weekend, and still digging.
