Last day in Marseille

Last morning in France. The past two days have been touring the Marseille waterfront, and the next day, the seaside resort town of Cassis.
I had my Covid pcr test done at a local lab for €50.00 euros, about $75.00.
That sure beats the 200.00 to 500.00 cost in BC. The price difference is in how fast you want your results. The lab in France emailed my results in 9 hours!
Cassis is where Louis and Isabelle lived as kids, and after they were married. They left their to move to Marseilles when they were in their 30s, after Louis came home from the Algerian war. He was there for 2 1/2 years, working in headquarters as a clerk/typist/printer.
The weather has changed with the Mediterranean Mistral coming in, with high winds and some rain. Comes with the change in seasons.
Bernard and Christine drove me to the airport this morning. I convinced Louis and Isabelle to stay at home, and say goodbye at the door.
I have now been cleared at security, had my pcr certified as correct to enter Canada, and completed my ArriveCAN app, (compulsory) to re-enter Canada. Hopefully we stay on schedule for the rest of the day.
The tiny streets of Cassis. Tourist season ended with a bang the last week of August, as the children go back to school
