Susan and I arrived at the boat Sunday, and even though the yard was closed, the manager let us on the boat. As we climbed up the ladder onto the deck our eyes grew sad. The bridge deck had an eighth of an inch of mud baked on the deck.
The aft deck was covered in mud, and debris. For some reason, the forward deck was quite clean. What had happened is the the bridge drains had plugged, and rainwater, mixed with dust had landed on the deck, and then the sun baked off the water. Repeat for 19 months - you get the picture!
Fortunately, the inside is in very good condition. A combination of dehumidifier, and desiccant has kept the inside looking, and smelling great.
So out with the power washer, start throwing stuff in the dumpster, and let’s get her back in shape!
