After a great brunch with Anci and Roland we started prepping to go north.

Went for a day sail to Radical Bay with Jacque who came to visit for the week-end. Lynne and Jacque went boulder clambering.

Not often we can sail here as the prevailing south-easterlies don’t permit safe anchorage. However the strong southwesterly taking us from Picnic to Horseshoe gave us a great opportunity to spend the night here.

After leaving Nelly Bay towards Horseshoe we decided to turn right instead and spend time in our home bay, Picnic Bay, while the conditions were good.

Moored in Gustav Creek alongside our friends' yacht, Meridian, after a sail over to Townsville for a few nights and needed to offload some stuff off Elcie Jay and also replace all the solar panels.
