One of the very special things about Compass Cay is the fish--Tucker says they are all pets! No food is ever thrown away--signs remind everyone that the fish and crabs are hungry. There is no fishing allowed in the marina, and there are loads of fish! In addition to the pet nurse sharks (that one can pet from the dock or swim with--but NOT when you are feeding them!) there are purple-blue angel fish, shiny silver bonefish, little yellow and black fish, those parasite fish that attach themselves to larger sharks and eat the left-overs. To gather the inhabitants of this wonderful aquarium, just throw a bunch of left-overs or pet food in the water--and stand back and marvel!
