The Journey Begins

I decided I would start throwing a little bit of content on here and add some flavour to the sail blog.
I started this adventure landing in Singapore on the 4th of August. We began our journey on the 30th of August sailing up the east coast through the Singapore Straits up to Tioman, Malaysia for a day of clearance. Our next destination was Redang, Malaysia where I went for my Scuba certification which was awesome! I've been enlightened to a whole new world down below and it's some of the most clear waters as of yet (My standards are quite high after visiting Redang!) From Redang we sailed vigorously north to Koh Samui, Thailand where we stayed for about a week and a half enjoying our time there. Following the visit of K.Samui, the crew headed up a little more north to Ang Thong, a national park, for a couple days where Uncle Steve and I climbed up the mountainous hill of 500m to the top of what was a very rewarding view of the park islands. Among other small adventures we decided to make our way back to K.Smaui and then in turn back to Redang, Tioman, and finally back to Singapore where we stayed for a week to provision and have Emerald Sea looked at for some minor maintenance. We were ancy to get out and going again but this time we would be going up on the other side of Malaysia, through the Malacca Straits, where we are up until this moment, at a marina by the name of Admiral Marina. A nice marina just outside of Port Dickson. We will be continuing our adventure north to Lankawi and then eventually Phuket, Thailand.
It has been a wonderful time getting to know the boat and building up my confidence to be able to sail her. Everyday I am learning something new and Everyday I am taking it all in with a renewed smile. I look forward to continue posting on the Sail Blogs and anticipating some great stories to share with you all.
Until Next time...
May the winds be every in your favour,
Ty.
