One ocean, eight countries, 9650 nautical miles.... going strong....

Well here we are .... its been twelve months on 30 August since we threw the ropes aside from our homeport of Singapore and set sail. And what a time its been! Its been everything I've dreamt of and everything it hasn't. There is no way to sail, especially across an ocean for this period of time, and not be philosophical of your life. I've stepped out of everyday life and have re-evaluated everything that has become important to me as a human being. What a therapy that has been and this is just phase one as we keep merrily going! And then there's been the physical and mental challenge of sailing this catamaran across an ocean and into its many bays, inlets and atolls ... and sparring with Mr Weather in its many and varied moods.

Thanks to all those we've met, who've advised us, we've journeyed with, shared with, above and below the seas.... It's been tremendous.

And of course. SV Emerald Sea ... our companion who has reliably and ably kept us save and afloat!
