Hats and Mitts No Longer Needed! We are headed back to the boat!

My last blog post was May 2011 .... so, I'm not going to write about anything that happened from then until now in any great detail. I'll recap for you: we finally left Banderas Bay in the spring of 2013 and cruised the coast of Mexico for a few months. We enjoyed the charming bays of Huatulco and had an uneventful Tehuantepec crossing in April. Before leaving the boat in Puerto Madero for the summer, we enjoyed some interesting land tours and explored the beautiful State of Chiapas.
Our Canadian summer was easy with gardening, a few home renovations and memorable moments with our neighbors and family.
But, we've heard rumors the boat is dirty and moldy after a summer of daily rain. So, Dan is headed south tonight. He's on Endorfin 'clean-up' duty before Savannah and I arrive :)
We have a great cruising season planned including a passage to Cocos Island for scuba diving with hammerheads, hiking in the Costa Rican national parks and a transit thru the Panama Canal.
Our wonderful friend Kim is joining us again - after 3 winters of skiing in Mammoth, he's ready for tropical waters and my fruity rum drinks.
Stay tuned for more blog posts and pictures as we continue our journey on s/v Endorfin .... exploring, one ocean at a time.
