Greenway Sound Waddington Bay

In Greenway Sound we stayed in Carter Passage where we had stayed 8 years ago with Skip and Linda Shipman on our first trip to the Broughtons. Once again we were treated to bears foraging on the shoreline.
We next stopped in Waddington Bay where we ended up with 6 other boats. This is a big anchorage with lots of room, but after so many nights in isolated locations, it seemed crowded.
The afternoon turned sunny and warm, so kayaking amongst the dozens of small islets was great. We had an ejoyable afternoon visit with Dave and Sally Lang from Toronto. They keep their cruising sailboat "Yonder" in Van Isle Marina in Sidney.
Tomorrow we will go into Port McNeill for supplies and pizza.
