On Sunday afternoons they have music concerts in the gallery or in the gardens at Museo de Gene Byron in Marfil. Gene Byron was a Canadian artists who worked in the US and was blacklisted during the McCarthy era. She subsequently moved to Mexico and renovated a hacienda, which is now the museum. She died in the 1980s. The man in the red shirt is her former husband, a Spaniard, who is now in his 90s and lives most of the time in Guanajuato.
