New Cooker

We bought a glass bowl convection oven that looked exactly like our old halogen oven. We were assured that we could not get halogen in New Zealand so bought this as a compromise. When we opened the instruction book it stated 'when the green light turns on the halogen starts working' so we had our halogen after all. Cooked a small roast in our new oven was very good much quicker than in the gas oven. The roast was only supposed to take 1/2 an hour and although it was well cooked by then think it would be better allowing a little longer to get it 'browned'. This is very useful as it also grills, steams and does toast, main advantage you can cook in the cockpit and not end up with an overheated cabin. Not a problem at home I know, but a major issue in the tropics!
