So the big day is nearing when we take possession on Eucalyptus (hopefully mid to end of January). She is a 2001, 36' Beneteau Oceanis 361 with 3 private staterooms. We are anxiously awaiting beginning our journey from St Maarteen. We plan on sailing down the Leeward and Windward Islands, then crossing to the ABC's - Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao. We then will wait for good weather and do the difficult sail to Santa Marta, Colombia! We want to take some time to sail around the islands and I hope we are in Santa Marta sometime in April.
