It was the 15th of April that she arrived in the back yard and its only now that its being added to the blog. With a million things that need to be done before she gets wet its surprising its even being added now.
The move from the Jacobs yard to ours was effortless, efficient and fun to watch. The whole family was here to see it.... along with every neighbor in a 5 mile radius!
A day that I will never forget.
Unfortunately it was bitter sweet. My mother lost her 2 year battle with cancer just two days before... but she knew the boat was coming and would not have wanted us to delay. She actually would have been mad had we delayed. Our excitement was thus tempered... but helped us deal with the grief and loss by giving us a very real distraction. Sometimes fate and destiny can guide and help you though life better than any amount of planning and foresight.

So now she's here.... Work Begins in earnest, WOO HOO!!! A new chapter in our lives.
