Getting Ready to Head North & West

We are starting to outfit Serenity for another trip. This one will be up the west coast of Florida and then West to . . . and back again.
How far we go is up to the weather. The plan is for Serenity and me to head out about April 12th making stops up the coast to Cedar Key or Steinhatchee and then jump to Carrabelle on the panhandle. Then we'll head West as fast as we can toward New Orleans--if the weather and time permit.
Karen will join us in New Orleans and we'll take a leisurely cruise back home to arrive the end of June. If things don't go as planned, Karen will fly to Destin and join up there for a shortened cruise on the panhandle and home.
The boat should be ready. All impellers, filters, oils, fluids, etc. changed. I've made additional privacy/sun screens and also no-see-um netting for the cockpit. Hopefully we will be able to enjoy the cockpit more in the land of mosquitoes. Need to make a no-see-um screen for the forward hatch and check on the cockpit drain hoses and we be should be ready to sail.
In the mean time, the house is torn apart while we are having the bedroom and dining room tiled. Drain the water bed, move all the clothes out of closets, remove baseboards, move furniture, paint the closets, and a host of other things. Need to get everything back in place before we leave. Fun!
