Evening Ebb

Almost ready to throw off the dock lines and head out to Dumbea Pass and the Pacific ocean for the passage to Brisbane, Australia. About 830 miles and seven to eight days at sea.

One last stop at the vegetable market and the grocery store this morning. All the paperwork is done and our accounts settled. The marina was quite reasonable at about $240 US for eight nights in a slip: great showers, free water and power, and garbage bins. The flowers were blooming along the walkways:

It's been a very nice stop and now we're off. The wind looks to be a bit heavy for the first day but then dropping off. We'll have to see how accurate the forecasts will be.
