Another view of the shoreline near Eaglehawk Neck.
Stopped by a dive shop yesterday and arranged to dive near Eaglehawk Neck Sunday morning. First cold water dive ever -- 13 degrees (55ยบ F) water temperature same as the air temperature this morning and they assured me that I'd be warm in the 7mm semi dry wet suit. Have to wear a hood, gloves, and boots which also means carrying significantly more weight -- 30 lbs rather than the 12 lbs I usually carry. On their remainder table I found a new dive mask with prescription lenses that are almost the same as my prescription and for only $30 AUD. It almost seemed as though it was meant to be.
Dinner with friend of a friend last night. Good company and good conversation. The restaurant served Szechuan beef on a sizzling platter and again, like every other chinese or thai restaurant I've visited in Australia, they charged for white rice.
Drove south of Hobart yesterday and visited another blowhole except this blowhole had collapsed and turned into a sinkhole. You can see the entrance to the cave that is now exposed after the ground collapsed.
