Not as cloudy this morning as it was two days ago. This is the view looking out of Prickly Bay toward the ocean.
And a picture looking toward the Coast Guard dock and the Spice Island boat yard.
Between the red ball and the two posts, there's a fairly shallow bit of water. Yesterday two boats ran aground thinking they could cut across. It's only mud but the second boat took about an hour and a half to get free.
Now that the rain has finally stopped, it's been quite pleasant the past two days. The solar panels are keeping up and since hooking up the second panel I haven't needed to run the engine even when it was fairly cloudy for a couple of days.
An update on plastics in the ocean. Every beach in the south Pacific was littered with plastic.
And a picture from last fall of the stairs leading to the Mt Yasur crater on the island of Tanna, Vanuatu. It's always wise to Think Safety.
