blue skies with patchy clouds
First morning after the first night back at sea. The bioluminescence in our wake and the multitude of stars were spectacular last night. We had two long stretches when we were able to sail but have lost our wind this motoring and are slowly motoring north. It's good to be back on a monohull and in a cockpit close to the water. Quite a change from the cat whose motion was fairly flat and you were always a long way from the water whether you were on deck or on the flying helm. It was a completely different experience from life on a monohull where you have to learn to move around a heeled over boat that's working in the waves.
No sense yet on whether we'll stop in Bermuda but if the winds stay as light as they are this morning a brief stop for fuel and Dark and Stormys may be in our future. No dinner last night since all of us were still full from the meals we had on land. It was almost a bit cool last night. Only some flying fish and almost no birds. A couple of ships overnight but nothing close.
