Second morning and the wind is on our nose -- a north-north-east wind, go figure. When we were coming south the wind was just off our nose almost the entire trip, a south-south-east wind. It's almost as though in a perverse way, the wind knows we're out here and where we're going. Cool this morning may have to dig out my favorite sweatshirt for my evening watch. With all this motoring, it's looking more likely that we'll be stopping in Bermuda.
The skies were clear most of yesterday and the brilliant shades of blue were endlessly fascinating -- the deep blue of the ocean and the baby blue of the sky and all of the variations as the light played on the surface or the clouds would cast shadows on the water. And once the sun went down, the stars were out.
Just a couple of ships but none have come close, and there were several flying fish on deck this morning. Dinner last night was a tabouli chicken avocado and olive salad. Yesterday morning had some muesli with mango yogurt, this morning Mary made omelettes and english muffins.
