Practicalities at Kulhudufushi

A few days later we headed to Kulhudufushi for fuel, fresh produce at the weekly Saturday Market, and an ATM for local currency. We were advised by the security guard at the dock in the southern Harbour to anchor rather than tie up to the dock wall which was fortunate, as the barnacle encrusted wall would not have been kind to our fenders and the widely spaced cleats were clearly designed for supply ships (which actually came in during our time there).
Joel and Tom lugged jerry cans back and forth from the beach to the nearby gas station, and we sampled a couple of local restaurants for dinner. Frizzle was much better than Bay Leaf, which was more memorable for staff and customer attitude than food. Suffice it to say that Kuhuldifhusi ended up being a good place to take care of practicalities on our way to many others, which we selected for enjoyment (like Dholhivadhoo - our next destination).
