Sailing Away

Ok, so I know I'm already failing at the blog, and need to get this all written down. It's all on my phone, but sadly it seems to be incapable of connecting to the internet to actually publish them! Nightmare!?

I made it down to Kotor, and am now heading all the way up to the top of Croatia - well Zadar first and foremost, but then onwards to Pula.

Absolutely loving life (and the Croatian beers!) and got so many photos to share with you all when I get the chance!

I've been looking forward to this since the start of real life!

After University I was forced for all sorts of dull reasons to get a job. I can't get excited about a paying extortionate rent for a run down studio in Hammersmith, even if I was doing better than some of my mates that had opted for house-shares. The mundanity of life kicked in, especially true when your work-life balance is 90% in favour of work!?

Then on 1st January 2018 I set myself a new goal. I need to do this before I die, and it might as well be now! My rent contract was up at the end of October, and I knew chartering a yacht would be much cheaper off-season, so here I am.

I'm about to set sail from Dubrovnik for 4 months - dropiing down to Kotor before heading all the way up to the very top of Croatia (and maybe even Venice) before meandering back here in time to head home to London.

For anyone tracking my start, I am following the first few days of this - the best Dubrovnik sailing itinerary I could find - before dropping down to Kotor.
