A New Chapter, A New Adventure!

October 1st, 2013. First official day of retirement! On Thursday, October 3rd, we depart Marina del Rey on the first leg of our adventure. A 10 hour sail down the coast to Dana Point. Next morning, it's down to SanDiego, another 10 hour leg.
On October 28th, with the help of three fearless (fool hearty?) relatives and friends, Fais Do Do will depart San Diego bound the Cabo 11 days, and 750 nautical miles later (including two stops on the coast of Baja), we will pull into Cabo. (See www.baja-haha.com)
Patty and Tilly will fly down and meet the boat in Cabo. My three "passage crew" members will fly home to the safety of their land-based homes. Patty, Tilly and I will cruise the Sea of Cortez for 4 or 5 months, living the life of vagabond cruisers!
