Timing of the passage through the Raz de Sein can be critical in anything more than moderate conditions. Even though we expected the sea state to be calm as it was our first time through we left Camaret at the right time to pass through at slack water. Had a lovely sail south in 10-12 Kts with the Code 0 and arrived at the Raz early but as conditions were settled had no problems other than a bit of tide against us.
We had decided to either Anchor or take a mooring buoy in St Evette which is just outside Audierne. When we arrived there were plenty of Moorings available and at this time of year there is no charge so picked one up and had a peaceful evening.
