After waiting for Cyclone Iris to finally decide to disappear we have let the ropes go again to try and make it to the Gold Coast for the start of the Go East rally to New Caledonia. Unfortunately the SE trade winds are not playing the game and are still blowing up to 30 knots in the wrong direction. So we will wait patiently at Fitzroy Island waiting on a break to get to Townsville to drop off Benny to be looked after by our friends Robin and Ros while we areout of the country
