It's been a little over a week since the last update but we have been a lot of places. We sailed down to the keys and spent a night at Pumpkin key where we use to anchor 38 years ago and dive for lobster for breakfast, although it feels like yesterday. Needless to say it was much different. Pumpkin Key is privately owned and has a private residence. Value of the whole place including the help pad is $95M ( it's a bargain......). The area reminded me of our Columbus Day regatta days, lots of great memories. We then went to Key Largo ("played it again Sam...). We provisioned topped off on fuel and water and spent the night tied up next to the tiki bar. Next day we sailed up to No-Name Harbor in Miami the departure point over to the Island,s. We departed before sunset the next day, which was absolutely beautiful. The Gulf Stream was flat the entire way to Bimini. We arrived in Bimini about 2P. We pulled into one slip. But it was not wide enough. We lost a screen to a port doing that. Those Lewmar Port Screens are worthless. We the. Tied up at Browns Marina on the T, which was great. We spent 2 days in Bimini. Topped off with water and took in the town. We then departed early at sunrise across the Great Bahama Bank at arrive at Chub Key just after Sunset. It was flat going across the Bank. The water is crystal clear and you can see the bottom clearly up to 50 feet deep. From Chub key we went north to White Key to a very nice secluded anchorage. It was like the movie blue lagoon. We snorkeled around. The evening was electric with a full moon that lite up everything. The next day we went back to Chub Key to get us in position to head down to Nassau.
