We are safely docked at the Marathon Marina and RV resort. It's a very nice marina. Our friends Bob and Ruth visited from 1/12-1/16, we had a great time although the wind was too strong to go for a sail. We did dinky over to Sombreo Beach after lunch at Burdines and it was delightful. We also visited the turtle hospital and the DoLphin Research Center and took daily walks. Our next stop is Key West. We where lucky to get a slip at the Stock Island Marina. It's a little outside of Key West. The last couple of days we have been prepping Finisterre for the sail up to Key West. We are finding out that sailing out to the Dry Tortugous is not bad but coming back can be a challenge if a front comes through and you can be stuck there for a long time. We might just take a ferry boat out there to check it out.
