Departed from Swansboro earlier as the wind was manageable. The tides was exceptionally low so shallow spots were problematic. We could hear the big guns of the marine base shooting range as we past. We made it to Wrightsville Beach and anchored for the night. Finisterre did well. Lots of Delfina's in the water way. Winds calmed down nice.

Happy Halloween. Departed Wrightsville after a nice breakfast. The current was with us thru the cape fear river. We made it out through Southport inlet at around noon and are headed to Charleston on the outside. Halloween for us will be on the boat surrounded by the ocean and millions of fish. No trick or treaters out here. 😩 We will be doing our 2 hour shifts at the helm. Should be in Charlestown late tomorrow morning. We hope we can move our slip reservation up. We past Ball Head Marina and it was tempting to go in there before going to Charleston but decided to stick with our plans and the good weather window.
