Sunny, in the low 80s.
Hola. Hello from Mexico.
I didn't make time for a blog last year. As i read and enjoy blogs of friends and fellow sailors, I have made a new 'season's' resolution. We'll soon have this blog up with postings and photos.
Jeff and I are currently 'on the hard' in the working boatyard in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico. We have a few more chores /projects to get Finte ready for the water. We're anxious to put away the sanders, paint brushes and the like, and enjoy cruising the beautiful seas and charming villages of Baja and the west coast of Mexico.

Vessel Name: Finte
Vessel Make/Model: Skarpsno 44
Hailing Port: Port Townsend, WA
Crew: Jeff Holt and Mary Smith-Holt
About: Jeff and Mary are retired, and are returning to the cruising life aboard their Dutch-built steel ketch, Finte. Their last major ocean voyage was 30 years ago! They've sailed Puget Sound and British Columbia waters extensively since then, and are now ready for cruising farther afield.
Extra:
From 1985-87, Mary and Jeff sailed aboard their 33' cutter, Companion, from Seattle through the South Pacific to New Zealand, returning via Hawaii and Alaska. Now retired, their plans are open-ended. We sailed to West Coast Mexico in the 2015, and spent 10 delightful months in Mexican sunshine. [...]
