We've made our 1st Trip out for 2009!!

Not a huge adventure, just enough to give the batteries a good charge under engine. Thankfully the weather was really clear & dry, with a good westerly blowing. It wasn't exactly hot, but armed with wooly hats, scarfs, and gloves we made our way up to the Tamar bridge & back.

The Sound & the Tamar, not surprisingly for this time of year was really quiet. I recall only passing one speedboat & the naval police patrol vessel.

Unfurled the genoa for the return leg, just to dry out any moisture trapped within. It nicely increased our speed through the water to a comfortable 6knts.
