On the move...

30 December 2010 | Miradiadup - Holandas Islands, San Blas, Panama
Ralph
The weather have finally improved over the last couple of days so we were able to get out and about. Yesterday we picked up anchor and sailed 12 miles over to Porviner to where we could check in to the country, which was long over due. We then picked up anchor again and sailed back to the Holandas Islands and anchored at the Miradiadup anchorage. There are only a few spots to anchor and it took us a couple of tries to get it set, but we managed to stay put for the night. It is bumpy here, so we may move again today. We have a couple of Kuna boats come out to see us and to sell us Molas. We invited the people from the first boat up and ended up buying 3 more Molas from them. I think we now have 6 in our collection. The one in the picture today is our new favorite. I thing it will look excellent framed.

We are doing laundry today and then probably do some snorkeling here with Better Days. We are also trying to figure out what we are going to do for New Years. We have heard rumors of a pig roast at the West Lemon cays, which sounds like a great fiesta.

We have also been reading material on Peru and some of the places we will be visiting and we are getting real excited. Machu Pichu and the sacred valley sound amazing. I am not sure about eating guinea pig, but when in Rome.....
