Ralph
We are back at Salaradup - it is such a beautiful island and anchorage. There was only one other boat when we arrived and we have since been joined by Better Days and a boat we met way back in Miami called Diva. It is a small world out here. We seem to always be running in to boats that we have encountered along the way which gives cruising a real sense of community.

There are a lot of pelicans that hang around here. I really like watching those guys - very entertaining. The other day I saw 4 of them together hunting and it looked like they were doing a choreographed dance. They always moved in unison. The 4 of them gliding, then hovering, then diving and then swallowing the fish they caught.

Before we left Wichubhuala, we did a major cleaning of the two bow storage compartments. They are huge - I can stand up inside of them and we put all kinds of "stuff" in there. Stuff that we don't use very often, but still need to hang on to. We have not gone through them for awhile and it was time. So we have to haul everything out and I then washed down the inside, while Karen cleaned what ever items needed to be wiped down. We threw out stuff that we think we are never going to need and then packed everything back in again. I also changed the oil on the SB engine before heading in to town to get some gasoline, which they did not have and was the reason we were hanging around. Oh well. Our good buddies on BD, said they would share with us if we run short.

Today is supposed to be a snorkeling / hunting day and the weather looks like it is going to cooperate. I am also going to try to convince the other boats that we should do a BBQ on the island this evening. I think some cheeseburgers are in order...
