Yesterday we had kind of a slow morning. The night before we met a couple of young ladies out by the pool and sat around talking and drinking Pico until midnight. So we took it easy in the morning and in the afternoon, caught a taxi out Haucachina which is a oasis in the desert. The main attraction is the massive sand dunes and they run tours out there with these dune buggies. I was not overly excited about the trip, but it turned out to be one of the craziest things I have EVER done. Karen and I were sitting up front with the driver. He would drive up and down these huge sand dunes at break neck speeds. Sometimes you would be racing down a very steep dune and then go up the other side. We also rode down the dunes on snowboards. We ride on then on our bellies and would get going really fast. It was awesome.

Today we caught the bus to Nazca and tomorrow we are doing the fligh over the lines and then catch a late bus on to Arriquipa.
