Headed North along the border between the Atlantic Ocean and the Little Bahama Bank.

Whale sighting along the way
We are cruising along the edge of the Little Bahama Bank still not crossing over. We must go 14 miles north then find the specific cut through the coral that allows us to move from one sea to the other. The cut is very small so we are operating on longitude and latitude headings for the cut, otherwise we have to go another 16 miles north to find the next cut. We are entering the Little Bahama Bank approximately 2 miles south of the infamous "Memory Rock" a well known way point when entering and leaving the Little Bahama Bank. The sea on the Atlantic side is more than 1500 feet deep while on the Little Bahama Bank it is between 9 - 12 ft. deep. The edge between the two bodies of water is a long line of coral heads making passage across until you get to the identified cuts impossible.
We were excited to see a whale jumping in the distance.
