I know, I know.....more than one person has given me what for because I've not been posting......but I've been busy. I think we've got everything on the boat that is going with us. Everything has been sold or given away except one car, and that may be gone next Tuesday. I've got the cradle for the mast built and stowed on deck. A few extra gallons of fuel for the boat and the Dingy. The boat deck is starting to look like a junk yard, but we've managed to find a spot for everything inside so it is still uncluttered. June 3rd is still the planned departure date. We plan to have a few friends over the evening of the 2nd to say goodbye to, so it should be a fun evening. The additional solar panels work well and the batteries are usually topped off by 8:30 or so in the mornings. All the other systems are working well also, so I think we're as ready as we're going to get. We'll see what the weather brings us for next week, but as of now we only plan a short 20 some mile trip the first day out to Stockton Island to decompress a bit, then porbably across the lake the next day to the Michigan side.
