Vicki and I decided we were getting get-there-itis so were slowing things down a bit. We only went 14 miles and probably spend a couple nights here. I've got a few maintence items I want to look at and Vicki wants to do some shopping. THe transmission is starting to act up so I'll check linkage and fork plate tomorrow. Also I want to add some insulation between the engine compartment and the refer. Heard form a friemd back in WI and she told us about a friend of hers that lives on the Eire, so we'll give him a call when we get closer. The drought is hitting the canal also,Locals have told us that the canal is down almost 2 ft. THe last 2 nights we havent been able to get to the dock, so we get as close as we can, then winch the bow in close enough to get to the dock. Rather ackward, but ya do what ya gotta do!The weather has been a lot cooler. This AM, we both were wearing sweat pants and shirts. Much different than last week!.....TTFN
