What a day! We left Wrightsville about 8AM Saturday morning and went straight through to Charleston, SC. All went well until about 4AM crossing outside. The wind switched to right on the nose with winds gusting over 25kts. Waves built quickly to 6ft. and it took us 11 hours to make the last 45 miles! We got the stuffin' pounded out of us. We plan on sitting here for a few days and play tourist.Vicki just told me that pounding into big waves fou hours, drove water through the anchor locker into our bed....bummer.....TTFN
