I was reminded this AM that I haven't posted in a while....so......All is well in The Key's. The watermaker is working great! Water for everything, including showers and we haven't run the motor since we got here! With one pump running, we can make about 9gph and only draw about 7 amps. If I turn on both feeder pumps, we can make about 18 gph but draw 17 amps. I'll only run both when we leave here and are motoring. We made chaps for the dinghy, and they turned out really nice. Vicki has had 6 people ask her to make them for them, but as yet, Vic has declined. It was 2 long days of work in the marina, but will protect the dink from the sun. Last night we had dinner on Running Free with Carl & Joyce from Bayfield. Some of you may remember their boat, a blue 40 FT. Freedom. We actually met them for the first time in Cape May, NJ.....small world....It's raining here for the first time since we've been here. Nice to wash the boat down in. We've taken several trips to Key West by bus and had a good time. THis Saturday we're going to the big flea market on Pine Key and look for things we cannot live without...lol! Can't think of anything else to write...so....TTFN
