Hans and Ruth to the rescue

05 May 2010
Hans and Ruth Deller, Pentesilea3, came to my rescue with Celebrex for my stenosis of the spine, that went nuts on me, and ice for my back. It continues to amaze me how wonderful our fellow sailors are in a time of need. Under 'it is a small world' category, Hans and Ruth (raised outside of Zurich) are from Conifer, Colorado, just a few miles from our home in Evergreen. Thank You!!!

Pentesilea3 is a beautiful Privilege 39 Cat.

The Spanish Navy has landed

01 May 2010
Spending weekends with family is a standard for Puerto Rican boat owners. Our pristine anchorage at Bahia de Almodovar on Culebra was 'invaded' for the weekend.

Pela Cay, Culebra

30 April 2010
This was one of our many 'favorite' anchorages. Pela and Pelaita Cays are small cays in Bahia de Almodovar, Culebra, Spanish Virgin Islands. Susan got to snorkel everyday. Several bonefish flats and sand bottom with conch surround this anchorage. We will definitely be back.

Two Princesses

22 April 2010
Susan (Princess 1) takes a closer look at the cruise ship 'Princess of the Seas' departing St Thomas. Southern Cross is sitting in Honeymoon Bay, Water Island, USVI. We had lunch with Jim and Marlene Jackson, Blue Heaven earlier in the day at Crown Bay Marina.

Sunset at Maho Bay, St John, USVI

14 April 2010
After a day of mailing off our tax return in Cruz Bay, we enjoyed this sunset at Maho Bay, part of the Virgin Island National Park.

Greg & Lynn at Marina Cay

08 April 2010
Looking tan and fit after a fun 8 days aboard Southern Cross, Lynn and Greg wearing big smiles on their last morning aboard. Lot's of laughs!
